Successfully Managing CJR and Bundled Payments for Total Joint Replacement Video
On April 1, 2016, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) implemented the Comprehensive Care for Joint Replacement (CJR) bundled payment program. This program establishes one price to compensate total joint providers for an entire episode of care, rather than the individual components of care. It is a mandatory program for hospitals in select locations.
